Qana Oil Port Paralyzed after Sanaa’s Military Operation
The oil port of Qana, in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, was paralyzed after the strike carried out by Sana’a forces Wednesday to prevent the looting of crude oil, local sources in Shabwa said on Thursday.
The sources said that the ship brought by the Saudi-led coalition left the port, after its mission failed to load quantities of Yemen’s crude oil through the Qana port.
The spokesman for the Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, had announced at dawn Thursday the success of a new warning strike to prevent the looting of crude oil in Shabwa province.
Sarie said that the targeted ship refused to respond to the repeated warnings sent by the Sanaa forces to it.
