Mahra Tribes Call on Foreign Forces present to Leave Safely
A leader in the sit-in committee in Mahra province, eastern Yemen, called on foreign forces present at Al-Ghaydah airport to leave safely before it is too late.
The head of the sit-in committee, in the districts of Al-Messila, and Sayhut, Sheikh Salem Saad Al-Zuwaidi, in a speech on the 55th anniversary of Independence Day, on November 30, 1967, affirmed that the sons of Al-Mahra are able to expel the occupiers and their ambitions from various areas.
Al-Zuwaidi called on the foreign forces present at Al-Ghaydah airport to leave safely before it is too late from the lands of Mahra and Yemen, and to open the airport to civilian flights to transport patients and travelers from the province.
Sheikh Al-Zuwaidi renewed his call on the mass crowds who came to mark the Independence Day the not to be deceived by malicious rumors issued by the UAE-backed militia that target the security and stability of Mahra.
The Saudi-led coalition forces have used al-Ghaydah airport, located on the Arabian Sea, as a military base for US and British forces since the beginning of 2018, amid local demands to open the airport to civilian flights.
