Saudi Approach to Overthrow “Legitimacy” of Aden Govt’ as a Prelude to a Deal with Sana’a
Prominent leaders of Islah Party revealed that Saudi Arabia has abandoned the name of legitimacy, and informing the Presidential Leadership Council of being a party.
Exclusive-Alkhabar alyemeni:
This is a prelude to entering into a political dialogue with Sana’a, which is expected to start in the near future.
The leader close to Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, the journalist Saif al-Hadhiri, said that Saudi Arabia is the Saudi track heading to lift the status of legitimacy from all legitimacy officials present in Riyadh.
Al-Hadari described, in a series of tweets on his Twitter account, the negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh, with handing over Yemen to Houthis.
Al-Hadari referred to a meeting that was scheduled to bring together the Presidential Leadership Council, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, he said that what will take place in this meeting is to hand over a list of concessions to Houthis.
Al-Hadari’s tweets corresponded with what others wrote from Islah party or close to the party, among them is the researcher Ali al-Dahab, who said that the negotiations are taking place for a “humanitarian agreement” that gives Houthis the rest of war’s gains.
Islah Party’s anger at making progress in the negotiation track reflects, according to observers, the party’s desire to continue the war as they are one of the biggest beneficiaries from it.
It is expected that a truce that may last up to six months will be announced, among the most important conditions of which is the payment of employee salaries and opening Sana’a airport and Hodeidah port.
During that, a dialogue takes place between Sana’a and the Presidential Leadership Council loyal to the coalition to discuss the rest of the war issues.
