Sana’a: Court Issues 25 Fines on Private Power Stations
A court in Sana’a fined on Monday, a number of private power stations that violate the Ministry of Electricity’s tariffs. The fines range from five to ten million Yemeni riyals.
A judicial source explained that the West Court issued 25 fines for violating power stations.
Pointing out that the Public Prosecution continues to follow up on the rest of the cases filed with it, and to summon the violators and bring them to justice.
The Ministry of Electricity in Sana’a government said, “The number of stations that adhered to the tariff price is 59 stations. While the number of violating stations that will be referred to the prosecution reached 102 stations, while the number of stations that the Ministry of Electricity was unable to control is 165 stations.
