International contacts to save negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh
On Sunday, international parties began intensive contacts to save the negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Emirati newspaper “Al Bayan” reported that international and regional parties, which were not named, are currently making intensive contacts to contain the disputes, indicating that the disputes currently revolve around salaries and a comprehensive political solution.
The newspaper pointed to Saudi Arabia’s imposition of new obstacles in the way of salary disbursement.
Saudi Arabia seeks to implement an American agenda that links salaries to a political settlement, which the Sana’a government rejects and considers an attempt to thwart the progress made during the previous round of negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh through Omani mediation.
The new disagreements threaten the return of military confrontation to the forefront.
