The STC confirms the bankruptcy of the “Ma’een” government and urges preventing its access to resources
The arrival of the government supported by the Saudi-Emirati coalition to the brink of economic collapse, as well as the general deterioration of the situation in the southern regions, according to the confirmation of the STC.
Follow-up – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Despite being a part of the Riyadh Agreement government, the Emirati-backed STC criticized it as corrupt and accused it and its president of emptying the state’s financial treasury and bringing the situation to the brink of bankruptcy for furthering the impoverishment of people and accelerating the elimination of their lives.
Indirectly accusing Saudi Arabia of being behind these events, particularly with Riyadh’s continued arrest of Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the STC regarded this collapse as a response to Al-Zubaidi’s visit to Hadramout and recent Council movements.
The STC applauded Ahmed Lamlas, the governor of Aden, for his decision to prevent the transfer of Aden’s local revenues to the Central Bank and urged the governors of other provinces to follow suit.
