Sana’a Forces: It is no longer acceptable to continue in the current situation

The coalition has two choices, according to Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, the Yemeni Minister of Defense in the Sana’a government: either declare peace before the entire people on the terms proposed by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, or the battleground will continue to exist between them.

According to the Sana’a-affiliated Saba News Agency, this came during a visit by Al-Atifi to fighters from the fourth military area forces in the Taiz axis.

Al-Atifi said: “Continuing in the current situation is no longer acceptable, as such a situation only serves the enemies, which we absolutely do not accept, and we have prepared ourselves and have what hurts them.”

He added: “We promise to liberate Yemen and are against aggression and anyone who occupies Yemeni territory, whether it be the Emiratis, Saudis, or those behind them, or those who fight with them. We will not back down from liberating it, and we will not allow any invader to remain on Yemeni territory.” He further confirmed that their strategic objective is to liberate all areas of the Yemeni Republic from the forces of occupation.

Al-Atifi lauded the recent military preparations and maneuvers carried out by the forces of the fourth military zone, stressing that they are part of equipping a professional fighter, not for media displays.

Finally, the Minister of Defense stated, ‘If they desire peace, then the peace-loving men will demonstrate it, and if they opt for escalation, they will know who they are dealing with. We have done everything within our power to prepare ourselves, and we will continue to do so.
