A responsible source in Sana’a: There are no political negotiations
In an interview with “Al-Akhbar” newspaper, a responsible source in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, denied the existence of any negotiations related to the political process with any party. Also confirmed that “Sana’a is committed to implementing the items related to the humanitarian file as the primary gateway to transition to other files, starting with the military file, including the withdrawal of foreign forces from all Yemeni territories without delay, and then delving into the political file.”

The source also refuted information from documents that were leaked and published by “Al-Akhbar” newspaper yesterday about exit strategies being discussed for the situation in Yemen, including the creation of a presidential council in which the Ansar Allah movement and other parties take part and the division of the nation into five administrative regions. The source reaffirmed that Sana’a does not demand participation in any formations of this nature and that it “has been and still stands against any foreign projects that target the unity of Yemen.”
