Sana’a Reveals American Concentration in 5 Yemeni provinces
Due to the repercussions of their recent deployment, Sana’a threatened American forces in Yemen once more on Wednesday.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Ali Al-Qahoom, a member of the Political Bureau of the Houthi movement, stated that Sanaa’s forces closely monitor American military activities in five Yemeni provinces, notably the regions of Khawr Amira and Al-Anad in Lahij, in addition to the island of Mayon in Bab Al-Mandeb, which belongs to Taiz province, not to mention the provinces of Hadramout, Al-Mahrah, and Socotra in the east of the country.
In a lengthy statement on his official social media website, Al-Qahoom said that the Yemeni forces would not stand idly by while America continued to aggress against Yemen and that their presence would not last for long.
Along with Sanaa’s evolving military capabilities and the changing rules of engagement, he also reminded the Americans of the Yemeni consensus in the national equation.
Al-Qahoom warned of the repercussions of the new American deployment on the entire region, pointing out that it is intended to control Bab Al-Mandeb, the second-most significant maritime passage in the world, as part of the conflict with China and efforts to lessen its influence, which has recently increased.
Since the announcement of the US Defense Department’s deployment of 3,000 soldiers in the Red Sea along with two amphibious and offensive landing ships, Al-Qahoom is the second commander of the Ansar Allah movement to send threatening messages to American forces.
Previously, Hussein Al-Azzi, the Deputy Foreign Minister in the Sana’a-based Salvation Government, cautioned Americans against any attempt to approach the Yemeni coasts.
