Houthi threatens to activate the plan to choke the Israeli occupation
Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, threatened on Tuesday to activate the most dangerous option against the Israeli occupation.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
During a speech today, Al-Houthi warned of closing the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait to ships carrying occupation flags.
Mohammed Taher Anam, advisor to the Supreme Political Council, reported in a post on his official social media page that al-Houthi threatened to target Israeli ships, noting that the Yemeni naval forces are monitoring the region to detect Israeli ships attempting to disguise themselves by raising flags of other countries.
Closing the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait to Israeli ships would be a significant blow to the occupation, as it is the only passage for it to receive fuel and weapons from American bases and its allies in the Gulf. This is a move that America fears Sana’a might activate.
Sana’a’s step towards targeting Israeli ships in the Red Sea is the second, following ongoing aerial attacks on the occupation settlements along the Red Sea.
