Gaza Health: The occupation destroyed rare medical equipment that is only found in Al-Shifa Hospital

Munir Al-Barsh, the Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated on Wednesday that the Zionist occupation has demolished the Al-Shifa compound and destroyed equipment that is not present in the Strip except in this complex.

Al-Barsh pointed out that the occupation tanks are currently stationed in large numbers in front of the Al-Shifa compound, pointing out that the occupation forces have arrested two engineers working at Al-Shifa Hospital.

The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that “the Israeli occupation forces did not find any materiel or weapons in the hospital, and we do not allow that in the first place.”

The Hamas movement earlier stated that the Israeli occupation’s allegations of weapons being present in Al-Shifa Hospital are “a continuation of blatant lies and cheap propaganda, through which they seek to justify its crime, which aims to destroy the health sector in Gaza.”

They mentioned that this propaganda is the same as the one it used during the invasion of Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital, “where the occupation places weapons in the location and stages a feeble play that no longer deceives anyone.”

Previously, Palestinian resistance factions called on the UN and international organizations to establish an international committee in order to “investigate the conditions of hospitals and expose the falsehood of the occupation’s narrative and baseless claims.”
