The Israeli occupation forces committed a heinous massacre, on Tuesday, against civilians in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, while the occupation burned the UNRWA Al-Fakhoura school in Jabalya camp.
The death toll rose to 71 Palestinians, including children and women, in a new massacre as a result of Israeli fighter jets bombing an inhabited building in the area of the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to genocide and ethnic cleansing for 25 days.
According to a medical source at Kamal Adwan Hospital, the toll of the Israeli massacre after the bombing of a residential building in the Beit Lahiya project rose to 71 Palestinian dead, in addition to a number of wounded and missing.
The source added that “civilians are the ones who transported the martyrs and wounded to the hospital, as a result of the disruption of ambulance and civil defense crews due to targeting by Israeli forces.”
He pointed out that the number of martyrs increased due to the lack of medical capabilities, to help dozens of wounded who arrived at the hospital.
Eyewitnesses said that a new massacre was committed by the Israeli army by bombing a five-story residential building housing residents and displaced people, belonging to the Abu Nasr family.
The witnesses added that Palestinian civilians were able to recover dozens of dead and wounded from the rubble in the complete absence of the health system and civil defense due to the siege imposed on the northern Gaza Strip governorate and Israeli attacks.
They said a number of the wounded were still under the rubble of the destroyed building, where about 100 Palestinians, including children and women, were located.
Witnesses appealed to ICRC crews to go to the targeted building to help search through the rubble for the living or bodies of the martyrs.
Marwan Al-Hams, director of field hospitals in Gaza, said, “Medical teams cannot help dozens of people injured in the Beit Lahia massacre due to the lack of medical capabilities and supplies.”
Al-Hams added in a press statement that most of the injured in the massacre of the Beit Lahia project may be martyred at any moment due to lack of capabilities, calling on the world to send specialized medical delegations to rescue dozens of injured in Kamal Adwan Hospital.
At the same time, eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli army was shelling the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, while treating the wounded in the Beit Lahia massacre.
