Why did Yemen resort to the “Al-Qari’a” weapon?

In its latest maneuver, the Yemeni forces displayed new naval capabilities, the most important of which is the unmanned submarine known as “Al-Qari’a.” So why was this new weapon revealed at this time?

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemen:

Since the start of the American aggression on Yemen in January of last year, confrontations have continued at sea level, specifically from battleships and aircraft carriers deployed in the Red Sea as part of American attempts to halt Yemeni operations against Israeli occupation and to break the blockade imposed on Israeli ports in occupied Palestine.

These ships, whether destroyers, aircraft carriers, or even reconnaissance and logistical support vessels, were visible and easy targets for naval and ballistic missiles, and even drones. In this battle that lasted for months, America lost the battle and recently realized that its forces were an easy target for Yemeni attacks, especially with missiles reaching the deck of the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower,” which was later withdrawn without a replacement being deployed.

With the success of the Yemeni forces in asserting control over the shipping lane in the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea amid criticism of the absence of American forces, the latter dispatched nuclear submarines to the Red Sea and occasionally launch missiles towards several Yemeni cities before diving back underwater and then moving between the sea and the Gulf and reaching the ocean to avoid detection.

Today, after weeks of these submarines entering the operational theater, Yemen is deploying a weapon to resist them, which the Yemeni forces have named “Al-Qari’a,” which has deep diving capabilities and the ability to infiltrate among the latest radar systems, and most importantly, its destructive power, which may sink submarines regardless of their ability to withstand explosions.

Until recently, Yemen used drones and ballistic missiles in its operations against American forces. However, with America deploying submarines, Yemen has decided to plunge into the battle from all angles, leaving America alone to experience another nightmare aboard the submarines, much like its officers experienced aboard the Eisenhower and other countless battleships and destroyers.
