A new Yemeni victory for the resistance and the restoration of navigation to normalcy… What are the dimensions of releasing the “Leader” crew?
With the Gaza agreement entering its fourth day, Yemen has taken a new step to support it by releasing the crew of the Israeli ship “Galaxy Leader,” but what are the dimensions of the step and its regional and international repercussions?
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
As usual, Yemen released the crew of the “Galaxy Leader” ship without any conditions or specific lines, and all it cares about, according to its officials, is supporting the resistance in its political battle against the occupation.
This ship was the first result of the launch of the Yemeni operations in November 2023, and it was captured after repeated attempts to escape before it fell into the trap.
In fact, the ship belongs to the Zionist businessman Rami Anger, and it is one of 204 ships that were targeted during the Yemeni operations, which are approaching a year and several months, most of which were owned either by the Zionist government or businessmen and companies affiliated with it and closely linked to supporting the war.
During this humanitarian mission to stop the war and the siege on Gaza, a number of ships were sunk, including British and American ones, and others were damaged for refusing to comply with the decision to ban Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Aden, and up to the Mediterranean.
The important thing is that the detention of the “Leader” ship sent a message to the Zionists and their allies about the seriousness of Sana’a in implementing the decision to ban navigation in the Red Sea and prompted many companies associated with the occupation to review their options, as the matter was previously viewed from the gateway of the impossible, especially since the “Leader” operation was characterized by a kind of professionalism and professionalism in executing the operation through an air landing and without causing damage to the ship and its crew, and it was the beginning of pushing the Western powers with their fleets to the Red Sea as a kind of deterrence.
Now that the ship’s crew has been released based on an agreement with the Palestinian resistance, many are wondering about the motives behind Sana’a’s decision to take this step.
Regardless of what the obsessed with the theory of invincible American power and Trump promote, there are objectives achieved by this step, the first of which is to emphasize that all Yemeni operations were purely humanitarian in motives and in support of Gaza, but now that the war and the siege have ended, there is no longer any reason for escalation, and with such a step, it throws the ball into the court of the occupation and its allies and hinders any attempts to justify a new escalation or a Zionist maneuver to return to war and siege.
As for the geopolitical level, the step represents the restoration of stability to navigation in the Red Sea and cuts off any foreign attempts to militarize the Red Sea under the pretext of protecting it, and it is a confirmation of the return of the situation to its natural course before November 2023, when Yemen launched its operations in support of Gaza.
