50days since the occupation prevented the entry of supplies into Gaza
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced on Monday that today marks 50 days since the Israeli occupation authorities have prevented any type of supplies from entering the Gaza Strip.
OCHA added that “since early March, not a single truckload of food, fuel, medicine, or other essential supplies, no matter how vital they are to people’s survival, has been allowed to enter.”
It explained that “over the past 50 days, food stocks have been critically low, leading to ration cuts. Essential medicines, vaccines, and medical supplies are running low.”
It emphasized that “ambulances have been forced to reduce their life-saving services due to the near-depletion of fuel needed to operate them. Cooking gas has also disappeared from the market, and bakeries have been forced to close.
