400kidney patients died in Gaza Strip due to lack of treatment

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of a worsening shortage of dialysis equipment in the Gaza Strip due to the lack of kidney medication.

In this context, officials from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed that dialysis patients in Gaza are struggling to receive treatment, and hundreds of them have died.

They noted that more than 400 people, representing 40% of kidney patients, died during the war due to the lack of treatment.

They emphasized that the occupation’s bombing caused significant damage to the intensive care unit and the alternative energy system inside Al-Durra Hospital. They reiterated their call for the relevant authorities to provide protection for medical facilities and criminalize the occupation’s practices.

They noted that the occupation has not only withheld medicine and food from Gaza’s children, but is also depriving them of life.
