More than 40 martyrs in Gaza, including a journalist and his family

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that 40 Palestinians were killed in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on several areas in Gaza since dawn on Wednesday.
Three citizens were killed Wednesday evening, including journalist Saeed Abu Hassanein, his wife, and his daughter, in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Bi’a Street in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
Nine Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Jarada family’s home on Mashtaha Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The Israeli airstrike destroyed the targeted home and damaged neighboring houses. Medical sources described the injuries of several of the wounded as critical.
Citizens were injured in an Israeli drone strike on Palestinians in the town of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The bodies of two martyrs were recovered following an attack on a house in central Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
In a related development, the Israeli occupation army admitted Wednesday evening to killing 10 Palestinians in an attack on a school housing displaced persons in Gaza City, claiming that the school housed resistance fighters.
On Wednesday morning, 10 Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Yaffa School, which houses displaced persons northeast of Gaza City.
Videos circulating on social media showed the school building severely damaged and engulfed in flames, as a result of Israeli drone strikes, according to eyewitnesses.
