An Israeli Commander: The “Houthis” are an independent threat force and pose a direct security and economic danger to Israel
The “Israeli” Major General, Amir Noy, described the Yemeni forces as an “independent military and political force” that represents an escalating threat to Israel, confirming that their organizational and military capabilities have become a security and financial burden on the occupation entity.

Noy explained in press statements that the Houthis have succeeded in “developing local weapons industries and adopting independent offensive strategies and moving to the forefront of Israel’s security priorities as a direct military threat.”
He mentioned that the Yemeni forces succeeded in disrupting commercial navigation by imposing an effective blockade on the port of Eilat, which affected the Israeli economy and forced Israel to spend millions of dollars on defense systems to confront their long-range missiles.
The “Israeli” commander added, “We are facing a different war of attrition from all previous wars, and its results will not be like the Six-Day War,” referring to Sana’a’s offensive strength despite the distance, which is estimated at more than two thousand kilometers.
This statement comes amid the escalation of missile and drone attacks from Yemen towards the Israeli occupation and the increase of economic pressures on it due to the disruption of sea freight lines in the Red Sea and the escalation of pressure and air siege on its airports.
