Yemen expands into the Israeli depth with the annexation of more settlements
On Saturday, Yemen expanded its bank of targets into the depth of the Israeli occupation, reaching the far southwest, so how far have Yemen’s support operations reached?
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
With the launch of the spark of Yemeni operations in support of Gaza in November 2023, the Yemeni forces focused their attacks on the city of Eilat on the Red Sea, where the city was subjected to intense air strikes in the first weeks before Yemen succeeded in implementing the naval blockade on it permanently.
With the escalation of the pace of operations in its five stages, the Yemeni forces gradually transferred their air operations to other cities, as the capital, Tel Aviv, remained the most prominent target for Yemeni missiles and drones, and the media cameras have documented for months the scale of the damage inflicted by Yemen, whether economically or militarily.
Although there are other settlements within the Yemeni operations, such as Haifa, Ashkelon, and even the Negev, this is the first time that the Yemeni forces have spoken about Beersheba.
Beersheba is the second largest city in the southern region of the occupation, and it contains several military bases, the most prominent of which are “Camp Nathan” and “Ketziot Prison Camp,” in addition to the “Southern Infantry” training base and the base for training the Nahal Brigade. The city also includes strategic facilities such as the headquarters of the Southern Command of the occupation army and spy, command, and control centers.
Regardless of what the largest city in the south contains, the new data reveals Yemen’s decision to expand its bank on the occupied territories of Palestine, which is an indicator of a new escalation that may include more, and the most important thing is that the Yemeni forces revealed in the new attack the development of their most prominent ballistic missile, “Zulfiqar,” which achieved its target successfully, according to the Hebrew media, which spoke of an explosion, and its capabilities have been developed to exceed 2,200 km.
