Yemen reveals the fate of the “ETERNITY-C” ship’s crew

On Wednesday, Yemen revealed the fate of the crew of the cargo ship that was sunk in the Red Sea.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed that special units rescued the crew members of the cargo ship “Eternity-C” and provided them with medical care, transporting them to a safe place.

The news had been contradictory about the fate of the crew, with the European mission “ASPIDES” saying only 6 had been recovered.

The ship’s crew consists of about 22 people, with 4 of them killed and others injured during the confrontations that followed the crew’s refusal to respond to the Yemeni Navy’s call to avoid being targeted.

The revelation of the crew’s fate came with the Yemeni forces’ confirmation of the sinking of the ship with a series of ballistic and drone strikes.

This ship is the second to be sunk within two days.
