The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip appealed on Tuesday to the United Nations and humanitarian organizations for urgent assistance and intervention to provide it with gasoline for the operation of rescue vehicles and equipment.
In a brief statement received by the Palestinian Information Center, the Directorate warned that most rescue equipment and supplies in the Gaza Strip governorates have stopped responding to distress calls, putting the lives of thousands of citizens at risk or even death.
This comes amid the complete closure of the crossings, the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, and the prevention of the entry of fuel, medical, and humanitarian supplies.
