Sana’a announces sanctions on 64 companies for violating the maritime blockade on the occupation
The Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC) in Sana’a announced the imposition of sanctions on 64 companies for violating the maritime blockade decision imposed on the “enemy,” stating that the fleets of these companies are now banned from sailing in the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, Gulf of Aden, and Arabian Sea.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center confirmed that the fleets of the targeted companies will be “subject to targeting in any area reached by the Yemeni armed forces,” considering these sanctions part of an ongoing policy to enforce the blockade decision strictly.
The center emphasized that imposing sanctions includes all violating companies, regardless of their nationalities, warning that sanctions will also affect any companies that ignore pre-sanction warnings and continue to violate the maritime blockade.
The Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center in Sana’a noted that shipping companies have begun to sever their ties with companies violating the ban, as well as excluding the Israeli entity from their commercial activities, in reference to the response and compliance of these companies with Sana’a’s decision regarding the escalation of the maritime blockade on the occupation entity.
The Yemeni forces had confirmed their continuity “in preventing the passage of any ship of any nationality or belonging to any owning or operating company dealing with the entity,” indicating that “maritime navigation is safe for everyone except Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports or ships of companies that violated the ban decision until the aggression and blockade on Gaza cease.”
They held “the shipping companies violating the Yemeni decision fully responsible for the safety of their vessels, their working crews, and the marine environment.”
