Aerial humiliation… A means of killing and a blood-stained livelihood

Social media users reacted to the tragedy of starvation and siege overshadowing the lives of the people in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing blockade imposed by the occupation, as people struggle daily to secure the most basic necessities of life for their children and themselves.

Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Tweeters unanimously agreed on the enormity of the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, describing what is happening as “brutal crimes.” While some focused on the escalation of famine and the collapse of the relief system, others pointed to the deliberate killing of those searching for aid. Meanwhile, some highlighted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people despite all these hardships.

Tweeters said that the journey to search for food in Gaza has become a “perilous journey,” as Al-Ghazawi do not know where death will come from. From aid distribution centers or with boxes thrown at him from the air?

Others said that the airdropping of aid, presented as an alternative solution to the introduction of aid by land, has become fraught with risks, as they fall directly on the heads of people who see them as a hope for survival.

The tragedy of the child, Muhanad Zakariya Eid, who was martyred after an aid box fell on him west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, revealed the magnitude of the tragedy. Muhanad is the fourth son his father has bid farewell as a martyr—a scene that embodies the depth of human suffering in the Strip.

The government media office in Gaza said that Muhanad is not the first victim of these airdrops, which have claimed the lives of more than 20 people and injured over 100 others. Meanwhile, those searching for aid are still being subjected to direct bombing by the occupation.
