The number of victims of Israeli starvation has risen to 227, including 103 children.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli starvation policy, which has been ongoing since October 7, 2023, has risen to 227, including 103 children.

In a statement, the ministry explained that in the past 24 hours, five Palestinians, including two children, died as a result of starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total number of victims of hunger since the outbreak of the war to the aforementioned number.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition rates among children under the age of five had doubled between March and June due to the ongoing Israeli blockade.
