The Red Sea is ablaze again… The falling of an unknown object near an Israeli ship off the coast of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia

On Sunday evening, the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority announced that it had received a report from a commercial ship stating that an unknown object had fallen near it in the Red Sea, followed by a loud explosion.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The incident occurred 40 nautical miles southwest of the Saudi city of Yanbu. The authority confirmed that the ship’s crew was safe and that it was continuing its journey.

Later, the maritime security company “Ambrey” revealed that the ship flies the Liberian flag and is owned by Israel, raising questions about the background of the attack and the possible perpetrator.

Media sources reported that the Ansar Allah group may be behind the attack, given its recent escalation against targets linked to Israel in the Red Sea.
