The Israeli army destroyed a second residential tower in Gaza City on Saturday and called on residents to leave and move to the Mawasi area to the south, as it continues to prepare for a ground offensive on the city.
The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that 46 people were killed on Saturday by Israeli fire, including a large number in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
On Saturday, Israeli aircraft dropped thousands of leaflets over the western neighborhoods of Gaza City, urging residents to evacuate.
Later, the army announced that it had bombed a second tower, which witnesses identified as the Al-Sousi Tower, the day after bombing the Mashtaha Tower.
