Day after day, and for two years, the unjust Israeli blockade on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has intensified, preventing the entry of food and medicine.
Tragic stories have emerged of children dying of starvation and others lying in displacement beds and hospitals with emaciated bodies, fighting for their lives.
During the two years of genocidal war perpetrated by Israel, the tragedy has not been limited to the victims of direct military aggression.
Israel’s systematic starvation policy and the resulting malnutrition have claimed the lives of 460 Palestinians, including 154 children.
On August 22, 2025, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared a famine in Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip.
