A new American media campaign targets Yemen in preparation for an upcoming military escalation
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The propaganda advertising campaigns led by Washington against Yemen and broadcast on various social media platforms are renewing, in a clear indicator of intentions for escalation and increasing pressure on the Yemeni government in Sana’a.
It has been recently observed that the US has been marketing a new advertising campaign on the YouTube platform, aiming to promote the recent package of economic sanctions imposed by Washington on Yemen as a prelude to a new American-Israeli escalation, according to observers and activists.
This campaign is part of a coordinated media policy paving the way for a new military and political escalation against Yemen, involving the US and the Israeli entity, with the participation of local forces being prepared to be the “new field ally” of the Israeli occupation on the Yemeni scene.
Observers confirm that the timing of the propaganda campaign coincides with clear indicators of Washington and the Israeli entity’s intention to open a new pressure front against Sana’a, especially following recent regional developments and the US’ attempts to redraw the map of alliances in the region.
In the same context, the well-known Zionist journalist Eddie Cohen published a statement yesterday, Saturday, on his account on the “X” platform, in which he said that “Israel” will not stop its operations against the Yemeni front even after the ceasefire in Gaza.
Analysts believe that this type of propaganda campaign aims to prepare Western and Arab public opinion to accept any upcoming aggression against Yemen under the cover of “sanctions” and “combating regional influence,” while observers describe it as a dangerous escalation and a direct provocation to the Yemeni people.
