Gaza municipalities: The aid received is insufficient and the situation is difficult

The head of the Gaza Municipalities Union, Dr. Alaa al-Din al-Batta, stated that the aid and tents that have entered the Gaza Strip are insufficient.
He explained on Sunday that Gaza needs equipment to recover and bury bodies.
He also stressed that the humanitarian situation in the Strip is extremely dire and requires urgent intervention.
This comes as Israel continues to carry out strikes inside the Strip since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10th, and prevents the entry of aid in the agreed-upon quantities.
According to official statistics, the average number of trucks that have entered since the agreement went into effect does not exceed 89 per day, out of the 600 trucks that are supposed to enter to secure the minimum basic needs of the Palestinians.
