Painful options await the coalition’s airports
Sana’a has called for an end to the violations faced by Yemeni travelers in areas under coalition control, warning that the continuation of such practices may compel it to take similar steps in the country’s other airports and ports.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
A member of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, Hizam Al-Assad, said that the arbitrariness and arrests of travelers at Aden Airport and land crossings represent a violation of the rights of Yemenis to movement and travel, confirming that Sana’a will not stand idly by in the face of these violations.
He added that protecting citizens and securing their freedom is a national responsibility borne by the leadership in Sana’a, and that any continuation of such practices will be met with measures that preserve the dignity of Yemenis and affirm that the country’s sovereign outlets are not a place for tampering or humiliation.
Al-Assad pointed out that the previous experience of halting oil exports proved Sana’a’s ability to impose field equations to protect the rights of the people, while local calls continue for opening Sana’a International Airport to all Yemenis without discrimination.
