The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday the deaths of three Palestinians and the injury of another in the past 24 hours, as a result of Israeli occupation forces’ violations in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Rescue teams in the Gaza Strip recovered the bodies of 20 martyrs from the Sheikh Radwan Clinic in Gaza City on Tuesday, after Israeli occupation forces exhumed graves during their recent incursion into the area.
The teams explained – according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) – that they were able to reach the site after the occupation forces withdrew. The bodies were found buried haphazardly within the clinic’s perimeter, following bulldozing and destruction operations carried out by Israeli military vehicles. The teams indicated that they are continuing to search for more missing persons in the area, given the widespread destruction caused by the recent incursion.
On Tuesday morning, rescue teams recovered the bodies of two martyrs from under the rubble of a house in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Ministry stated in a press release that the number of martyrs and wounded since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 has risen to 245 martyrs and 623 wounded, noting that 529 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of buildings destroyed by bombing during the war.
The Ministry added that the total toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 69,182 martyrs and 170,694 wounded.
