The Government Media Office in Gaza stated last Thursday that, with the announcement of the second phase of the ceasefire, the Israeli occupation committed 1,244 violations during the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, resulting in 1,760 martyrs, wounded, and detainees.
The Government Media Office explained that, on the humanitarian front, the Gaza Strip is facing a slow genocide, as the occupation continues to evade its obligations under the agreement and the humanitarian protocol, failing to deliver even the minimum agreed-upon amounts of aid.
During the first phase of the agreement (95 days), only 24,611 trucks entered the Gaza Strip out of the 57,000 that were supposed to enter, averaging only 259 trucks per day out of the 600 allocated daily, representing a mere 43% compliance rate. This has led to a continued severe shortage of food, medicine, water, and fuel, exacerbating the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated in its latest statistics that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 463, and 1,269 wounded, while the number of martyrs since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023 has risen to 71,455 martyrs and 171,347 wounded.
