Hamas issued a global appeal for action, including angry marches and pressure tactics, against the ongoing aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement released in several languages on Tuesday, the movement said: “In the face of the continued brutal aggression by the fascist occupation government against our people in the Gaza Strip, through escalating airstrikes and relentless barbaric shelling, and the perpetration of the most heinous systematic crimes of murder by demolishing and destroying the tents and homes of innocent, unarmed civilians, and further deepening their already escalating humanitarian suffering; and in light of the continued and deliberate daily violations of the ceasefire agreement by the war criminal Netanyahu’s government, in evasion of its obligations to the mediators, in contempt of international laws and norms, and in flagrant violation of all humanitarian values and principles…”
The movement added, “We direct our appeal to all people of conscience and free people in our Arab and Islamic nation and the world, to take urgent action in all forms of solidarity marches with our people and our just cause, and angry marches in cities, capitals and squares around the world, against the continued fascist occupation government’s unjust aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip.”
