The Gaza Strip is experiencing a health emergency and a highly complex humanitarian situation, despite the ceasefire agreement, which Israel continues to violate daily, committing massacres against civilians.
After a bloody day that resulted in the deaths of 24 Palestinians, the occupation army violated the truce again, resulting in further casualties. It also carried out demolition operations on homes in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City.
In a related development, forensic teams began examining the bodies of dozens of martyrs that arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital after being handed over by the Israeli side. They explained that these bodies, which arrived Wednesday night, include 54 corpses and 66 boxes containing remains and human organs, released by the occupation through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
On the humanitarian front, the Executive Board of the World Health Organization approved maintaining a continuing health emergency in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem. Only one member, Israel, voted against the resolution. The Council condemned the repeated and direct attacks on health facilities and medical personnel, considering them a flagrant and serious violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
