US Navy Commander admits Sana’a capabilities: We went through a bitter experience in the Red Sea

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Remarks by US Navy Commander General Darryl Caudle, reported by the Associated Press, were considered a frank acknowledgment of the development of the capabilities of Sana’a forces in the Red Sea, following the strikes suffered by US aircraft carriers.

Caudle confirmed that the bitter experience pushed Washington to consider new alternatives, including relying on smaller, faster, and more flexible battleships, in addition to drones and robotic systems, to reduce losses and provide the same military capabilities at a lower cost.

This shift reflects an American realization that Sana’a’s forces have imposed a new reality in the Red Sea and that confronting their threats is no longer possible with traditional methods but rather requires a reformulation of US naval doctrine to align with the qualitative development demonstrated by Sana’a in targeting massive US warships.
