Young man injured, arrests and raids

A Palestinian youth was shot by the Israeli occupation forces, on Saturday evening, near the apartheid wall, north of Tulkarm, at a time when several areas in the West Bank witnessed incursions, arrests and strict military measures. And the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews dealt with the injury of a young man with the occupation bullets in the foot in the village of Nazlat Issa, north of Tulkarm, and he was taken to hospital, where he was described as moderate. In the north-east of Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayer and detained a number of citizens in one of its neighborhoods, after beating them. The head of the village council, Amin Abu Alia, said that the occupation forces raided a house and a number of shops and beat those in them, as well as sound bombs and poison gas at the citizens and their homes, without recording any injuries. He pointed out that the village and the surrounding towns are under constant incursions, as well as attacks by settlers.

In a related context, the occupation forces arrested a Palestinian girl while she was passing through a military checkpoint east of Ramallah. And security sources reported that the girl was from the town of Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiya, and her identity was not yet known, and she was arrested at the entrance to the village of Yabroud. The occupation forces also stormed the villages of Shaqba and Qibya, west of Ramallah, without reporting arrests or raids. In the south of Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the towns of Aqraba and Burin, and conducted provocative tours in their streets, and fired tear gas canisters, but no injuries were recorded.

Since it started the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, the occupation army has intensified its attacks in the occupied West Bank, including killing, arrest, displacement and settlement expansion, in a path that Palestinians see as paving the way for the official annexation of the West Bank. The attacks left at least 1,112 Palestinian martyrs, and about 11,500 wounded, in addition to the arrest of more than 22,000, according to official data.
