Widespread escalation by the occupation and settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem

The Palestinian Information Center (PITC) documented in its monthly report that Israeli occupation forces and settlers committed 6,248 violations in the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem during February 2026. These violations ranged from direct attacks to repressive measures affecting various aspects of Palestinian life.

The data showed that eight Palestinians were killed and 229 others were injured, in addition to 823 arrests and 59 detentions during the same period.

The report also documented 1,208 raids, 1,137 incursions into homes and facilities, 1,139 restrictions imposed at military checkpoints, and 319 closures of areas and towns.

In the context of targeting property, the center recorded the demolition of 47 homes, the destruction of 203 properties, and 93 confiscations. It also documented 51 settlement activities and 500 attacks carried out by settlers against Palestinian citizens and their property. The report noted 302 shooting incidents by the occupation forces, 83 deportation orders, as well as 35 violations against holy sites, 7 violations against journalists and medical teams, and 6 violations targeting the education sector.
