Between announcing the wounded and ignoring the killed… Skepticism regarding the US army’s narrative about its losses in the war
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
US Central Command announced on Monday the wounded toll among its forces since the start of the large-scale military operations led by the US and Israel against Iran in late February.
According to the statement issued by Central Command, approximately 200 American soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the confrontations.
The statement explained that the vast majority of the wounded have recovered, with more than 180 soldiers returning to active duty.
On the other hand, the American announcement faced a wave of skepticism from observers and military analysts.
Observers drew attention to the statement’s complete absence of any mention of the number killed among the US army.
Others also questioned the accuracy of the number of wounded, suggesting that the actual figures could be much higher than disclosed, given the intensity of the reciprocal missile strikes in the region.
