Gaza martyrs are on the rise

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Strip has risen to 72,289 martyrs and 172,040 wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.

In its daily statement, the Ministry explained that Gaza Strip hospitals received four new martyrs and 12 wounded in the past 24 hours.

It noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 713, and the total number of wounded to 1,940, while 756 bodies have been recovered.

It stated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
