Hebrew media: Hezbollah’s drone attacks bring the “Deterrence Equation” back to the forefront
Israeli media reported that a Zionist soldier was killed and eight others were injured in the past twenty-four hours, as a result of attacks carried out by Hezbollah using drones, which reports described as a growing “nightmare” for the Israeli security establishment.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The reports stated that a soldier was killed by the explosion of a booby-trapped drone inside a military base in the north of occupied Palestine, while the Israeli Ministry of Health acknowledged that eight people were injured in attacks related to gunfire and drones from the Lebanese side.
In the same context, the Israeli channel “i24” spoke of a state of concern and confusion within “Israel” due to Hezbollah’s escalating use of drones, indicating that these aircraft have become a growing challenge for the Israeli army.
The channel also quoted its correspondent as saying that the party is using this type of drone intensively for the first time, targeting northern settlements and sites inside the occupied territories.
For its part, “Channel 12” quoted senior officers in the Israeli army warning of the return of what they described as the “game of equations” with Hezbollah in reference to the escalating mutual responses on the Lebanese border.
These developments come amid ongoing tension in southern Lebanon, where the Lebanese resistance affirms that its operations come in response to the repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement and the ongoing aggressions on southern villages.
