Two Palestinians were killed on Sunday evening in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City. Medical sources reported that two Palestinians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near a water filling station in the Al-Samar area in central Gaza City.
Medical teams transported the two bodies to the Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, along with several wounded, some of whom were reported to be in serious condition.
In a separate incident, a young Palestinian man sustained moderate injuries after being shot by an Israeli military vehicle in the Firas Market area in the city center. According to the latest figures released by the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed has reached 1,066, and the number of wounded has reached 3,445 since the ceasefire agreement was reached in October 2015.
