After Targeting Abha Airport… Sharp Decline in Flight Traffic at Southern Saudi Airports for the Third Consecutive Day

Data from the specialized flight tracking website “FlightRadar” showed this morning a near-complete decline in flight traffic at southern airports adjacent to Yemen, with a drop estimated at about 90% compared to normal rates.

Special Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The decline included five main airports, most notably Abha International Airport and King Abdullah Airport in Jazan, in addition to the airports of Bisha, Najran, and Al-Baha. Satellite images showed movement limited to a small number of domestic flights.

This decline comes after Sana’a forces targeted Abha Airport in response to Saudi Arabia’s bombing of Sana’a International Airport and also reflects the response of airlines to the warnings issued by Sana’a forces regarding transit in Saudi airspace.
