Sana’a Defense: Our Forces Are Ready to Implement the Equation of “Siege with Siege,” and Comprehensive Escalation Will Reach the Depths of Saudi Arabia
The Minister of Defense in Sana’a, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, announced raising the combat readiness level of all classifications and formations of the armed forces, affirming full readiness to implement the directives of the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, to impose the equation of “siege with siege, airports with airports, and ports with ports” if the restrictions on the Yemeni people continue.

Major General Al-Atifi warned, in a statement, the coalition countries, specifically the Saudi regime and those behind it, that options are now open for the armed forces, emphasizing: “Saudi Arabia has two choices; either to withdraw its hand from Yemen, which will happen thanks to our people’s resilience, or to head towards comprehensive escalation, which Yemen will meet in kind with its striking hand,” according to Saba news agency.
The Sana’a Defense Minister vowed to transfer the battle to the depths of the Kingdom if intransigence continues, affirming that the loss will be bitter for Riyadh, which is working to destroy the country, and that “this destruction will reach it sooner or later until it stops its interventions in Yemeni affairs.”
Major General Al-Atifi explained that the balance of power has changed in favor of Sana’a, saying: “The enemy must realize that the Yemeni people now have forces and military capabilities capable of imposing equations, and that Yemen, which endured during the past ten years, can endure and prevail in the coming period.”
He indicated that the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, the Presidency of the General Staff, and the Armed Forces have completed their field arrangements based on the leadership directives issued in recent days, noting that the leadership is aware of the scale of the humanitarian suffering endured by citizens due to the siege, and that this situation will not last long.
Regarding the background of the escalation, the Defense Minister considered that the recent Saudi moves do not serve the region’s interests, affirming that “the Saudi has no goal in Yemen except to implement the Zionist and American agenda.”
Al-Atifi added that Yemen possesses all the components and capabilities that enable it to develop economically and provide a decent living for its citizens, if foreign interventions cease and the guardianship hand over its sovereign wealth and outlets is lifted.
The Sana’a Defense Minister concluded his statement by saluting the people of Yemen, foremost the Yemeni tribes, for their honorable positions, their victory for the values of truth, and their categorical rejection of foreign interventions, expressing his appreciation for their high readiness to stand alongside the armed forces in the battle of liberation and independence.
Major General Al-Atifi affirmed that the home front is currently experiencing an unprecedented state of cohesion, saying: “All the people of Yemen are united and cohesive today more than ever before, alongside the leadership to secure rights and stop Saudi interference in our country.”
