Media sources reported today that Iranian missiles targeted the airport of the city of Aqaba in southern Jordan.
Media sources reported hearing explosions in Eilat as a result of targeting Aqaba with Iranian missiles, where a missile directly fell near Aqaba Airport, while smoke columns rose from King Hussein Airport in the city.
Israeli media reported that shrapnel fell in an industrial area in Shkharot, located in the occupied territories, with interception operations observed from the city of Eilat.
The occupation authorities announced the suspension of takeoffs and landings of aircraft from Ramon Airport north of Eilat following the Iranian attack.
The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army stated that launches from Iran towards the city of Aqaba, near “Israeli” territory, were observed.
This attack comes after an Iranian military source revealed that all power generation stations and water desalination plants in Kuwait and Jordan have become targets.
