Smart missiles that change targets mid-air… The Revolutionary Guard reveals superb capabilities

The spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Hossein Mohbi, affirmed that the missile capabilities of the Iranian forces possess advanced characteristics that allow for self-guidance and the ability to change course to counter enemy air defense systems, indicating the possibility of changing the primary target of the missile and designating a secondary target for it even mid-flight.

In commenting on the recent confrontations, the spokesman described the “12-Day War” as a war to shape perception supported by military measures, explaining that the enemy sought, through disrupting the perception system of society, to change people’s perception of the field reality.

He clarified that this war was characterized by the US entering a state of “strategic fragility,” noting that unlike previous wars in which Washington tried to prevent the transfer of damage to its territory, part of the costs and damages of the war in the recent confrontation were transferred to the opponent’s front.

On the front of energy security and waterways, the spokesman stressed that threats related to the Strait of Hormuz are not merely a purely regional issue, as a vital part of the world’s energy passes through it, warning that any disruption on this path would negatively reflect on financial markets, food supply chains, and industries.

He concluded by affirming that the threats and mutual responses in the recent war cannot be analyzed solely within the framework of a limited military confrontation, but their wide-ranging repercussions on the global economy and energy security must also be taken into account.
