Hamas: Israeli escalation in Gaza confirms its continuation of the war of extermination

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, affirmed that the Israeli occupation army’s intensification of its crimes and attacks on the Gaza Strip since Monday morning represents a systematic escalation by Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, confirming its continued war of extermination against the Palestinian people and its disregard for the obligations stipulated in the ceasefire agreement.
In a press statement issued Monday, the movement said that the occupation’s attacks included the demolition of several homes in southern Gaza, the shooting of fishermen off the coast of Gaza City, and the targeting of civilians in various parts of the Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least five Palestinians and injuries to several others.
Hamas clarified that what is happening is no longer a series of isolated violations or incidents, but rather a systematic policy of aggression and a continuous war waged in various forms.
The movement reiterated its demand that the mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement assume their responsibilities regarding the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and take immediate action to pressure the occupation government to halt its aggression and compel it to respect the internationally sponsored agreement.
