Repercussions of striking Aramco Jizan appear in the first hour of Tuesday trading

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Shares of Saudi Aramco fell by 0.2% in the first hour of trading on Tuesday, coinciding with investor concerns following the targeting of the Aramco refinery in Jizan, southwestern Saudi Arabia.

In the same context, shares of Yanbu Petrochemical Company fell by 4.1%, amid indications of the reflection of military escalation in the region on Saudi oil sector stocks.

The decline in shares coincided with the circulation of satellite images and video clips showing widespread fires in the vicinity of the Jizan refinery, following renewed attacks targeting the facility.

These developments have raised concerns about the potential repercussions of continued military operations on Saudi oil facilities and on the sector’s performance in the coming period.
