Saudi-Backed Forces Collapse on New Fronts in Taiz… What Are the Latest Field Developments?

The collapses continue in the ranks of the Saudi-backed forces on the fronts south of Taiz Governorate, with new withdrawals being recorded from a number of areas, in conjunction with the continuation of confrontations with the Sana’a forces.
Multiple sources reported today that the Saudi-backed forces withdrew from several isolated areas and zones in Al-Shamaytin District, including Rasn, Al-Badhijah, Al-Kuwayrah, and Al-Za’azi’, in addition to Naqil Al-Qahir, following confrontations with the Sana’a forces.
In a connected development, the sources spoke of similar withdrawals from several areas in Sami’ District, in conjunction with the continuation of the clashes in the area.
These developments come after the Sana’a forces took control of several areas in the districts of Jabal Habashi and Al-Shamaytin yesterday, amid the continuation of the confrontations and the expansion of the scope of the field movements on the fronts south of Taiz.
