Health: Births drop by about 41% in Gaza

A Palestinian Ministry of Health official in Gaza announced a 41% drop in births due to the Israeli war on the Strip.

Munir al-Barash, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported that more than 128 cases of children born with deformities were recorded due to the lack of nutritional supplements for mothers.

He pointed out that the Israeli occupation is waging a systematic war of genocide against women and children in the Strip.

He pointed out that the international community remains silent regarding all the violations taking place in the Strip, even as the Israeli occupation is implementing a policy of genocide against the Palestinian race.

Al-Barash called on the international community to investigate the types of weapons used by the occupation against the population of the Strip.

He also called on the international community to protect health personnel and medical facilities in the Strip.
