Reasons revealed for Saudi military aircraft flying near Yemeni border

Saudi Arabia sparked controversy on Tuesday by placing its air force on alert near the Yemeni border.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Navigational tracking sites showed the flight of Saudi “A330 MRTT” aircraft, used to refuel fighter jets, flying along the border with Yemen.

The aircraft were transferred from the capital, Riyadh, specifically from Prince Sultan Air Base, which hosts US forces.

According to Western sources, the deployment of these refueling aircraft is part of a state of alert among the Saudi Air Force, explaining that the intensive Saudi air traffic over border cities is aimed at intercepting any missiles or drones from Yemen heading toward the Israeli occupation.

Earlier today, Hebrew media confirmed that Saudi forces had intercepted several missiles coming from Yemen.

This is the first time that Saudi Arabia has deployed its fighter jets in anticipation of Yemeni attacks against the occupation, although it has previously participated in interception attempts using defense systems.

These moves reinforce accusations that Saudi Arabia orchestrated the assassination of the Sana’a government, which was the last warning from its prime minister to Saudi Arabia before his meeting was targeted.
